1st Knaphill Scout Group are proud to announce that two former members of the Scout Group have been awarded the highest award in Scouting—the Queen’s Scout Award.
On Friday 7th January Terry Wellerd and Ben Daniell were both presented with their awards by Mr. Robert Douglas, the High Sheriff of Surrey, along with 5 other Scouts from Woking District. They gave a lively and animated presentation of their journey to become Queen’s Scouts which was enjoyed by family, friends and fellow Scouts.
They worked for their Queen’s Scout Award alongside their Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award which they also received at the presentation.
