BEAVER SPRING CAMP AT BIRCHMERE ….

Well we didn’t ever plan to take our Beavers on a frost camp but that’s what happened on our spring camp!  Beavers came well prepared for a cold night and all fell asleep quickly in their tents but as temperatures plummeted around 1am leaders decided to wake them and move them into a hut for their safety.  For many this was their first camp and their first night away from home & they all thoroughly enjoyed themselves. They loved cooking sausages and marshmallows over the fire & having a sing song.  Saturday morning brought sunshine and blue skies for our hike on Wisley Common followed by soft archery and crossbows and an Easter egg hunt.
