SQUIRREL’S SPACE SLEEPOVER ,,,,

Date: 1st Apr 2025 Author: Tracey Daniell

On Friday 28th March Squirrels had their Space Sleepover. They made Space helmets for their teddies, made rockets from toilet rolls and planets from ping pong balls.  Squirrels enjoyed a walk to park by Barley Mow Lane to spot the constellations before working together to recreate the constellations by standing at different points with their torches acting as the stars in the constellations. They also learnt about the order or the Planets which included using different fruits to represent each planet so they could see the difference sizes of the planets.  Squirrels also toasted marshmallows on the campfire and singing some campfire songs.

Max said “it was really really good.   My favourite thing was going on the night walk and hearing the animals. ”

Bertie said “my favourite thing was going on the night walk.”

It was Koda’s first Sleepover and he said “my favourite thing is toasting marshmallows. ”
