MINI WINGS INTERNATIONAL JAMBOREE…..

WINGS is an international jamboree hosted by Berkshire Scouts & Guides in Windsor Great Park.  Traditionally it has been held every 5 years but this was the first time since 2014.   What an amazing event! Some hiked in, for example Spelthorne Explorer Scouts, whilst others came from across the world,.  We saw Scouts from New Zealand, Ghana & Denmark to name but a few.   5000 Scouts, Guides  & leaders camped for the week and an extra 400 came in each day from the younger sections for MINI WINGS.

Our Squirrels, Beavers & Cubs had a great day and loved the opportunity to take part in such a special event.  Well done to Beaver Leader Anna (who is also a Brownie leader in Berkshire!)  & her son David (Cub) who were there as staff all week in sweltering temperatures!
