1st Knaphill Scout Group & 3rd Knaphill Brownies joined together on Saturday evening to perform in a traditional Scout Gang Show to entertain parents and friends.  Beavers started the show with a retelling of the legend of the campfire favourite ‘Ging Gang Gooli’ wearing outfits they had made during the term.  Cubs then staged a spectacular circus performance, including a human cannonball, a bearded lady, magic tricks and jokes. Brownies took us on a nursery rhyme adventure ‘Looking through the window’, followed by a number of skits performed brilliantly by the Scouts.  Group Scout Leader Tracey Daniell said ‘ the supreme confidence of these young people is wonderful to see. Scouting & Guiding certainly brings out the best in them & they are proud to play to such an appreciative audience.  We hold our Gang Show every two years and you can really see their characters develop in that time.‘  Not to be outdone the Beaver Scout leader team brought the house down with their black and white dance, a spectacle the audience will always remember!

Put your phone down and what are you left with? Just teamwork, courage and the skills to succeed.’
