ANOTHER KNAPHILL QUEEN’S SCOUT

Date: 5th Jul 2019 Author: Tracey Daniell

We are delighted to announce that Assistant Cub Leader Thomas Faulkner has been awarded his Queen’s Scout Award.  Tom started as a Beaver with the Group aged 6 and progressed through the sections to become a Cub Young Leader and most recently a Cub leader.

His path to become a Queen’s Scout has certainly been exciting including a trip to the World Scout Jamboree in Japan in 2015.  He has undertaken hiking expeditions in the Brecon Beacons, the Surrey Hills and the biggest challenge on Dartmoor.  Tom has been a very committed member of the Group from an early age, taking up all opportunities offered to him and has amassed something like 300+ Nights Away experiences!

Sadly we will be losing him as a leader as he heads off to University in September but hope he will keep in touch & that we will see him at events from time to time.
