BEAVER HARRY POTTER CAMP……

Date: 31st Mar 2023 Author: Tracey Daniell

Last March we had the coldest Beaver camp ever, this year it was the muddiest camp ever!  Nevertheless Beavers and leaders alike enjoyed our Harry Potter camp.  Beavers loved the theme & took part in all the activities with gusto.  Here’s what our Beavers had to say about it…

I had fun at Beavers camp.  The pink, blue and black potions were amazing and incredible at the same time.  We used edible glitter, vinegar and milk.  We had a Wingardium Leviosa challenge where you had a balloon with a wand.  You had to hit the balloon up, not down so it does not touch the floor.

I loved the sorting hat ceremony.  I was really surprised when the sorting hat was put above my head & said ‘Now Elsbeth I think you have all the wizardry skills that we need in Gryffindor!’

I liked sleeping in the tent too.

My favourite things at Harry Potter Beaver camp were the sorting hat, making & drinking butterbeer, the forbidden forest challenge and Olivander’s wand workshop

I enjoyed drinking butterbeer because it was yummy!  My favourite thing was making potions.  Finally the Hedwig balloons were really fun!
