BEAVER SLEEPOVER TO SEE IN THE CHINESE NEW YEAR …..

Beavers enjoyed their first sleepover of the year at the start of half term & celebrated the Chinese Year of the Dragon!  Beavers enjoyed creating Dragon puppets and doing their own version of the dragon dance.  They then tried Fortune Cookies & settled down for a game of Chinese New Year Bingo—always a favourite!

After hot chocolate they settled down to sleep remarkably quickly & slept to 6:45!  A record for Beavers!  Great entertainment on Saturday morning was watching the diggers working on the A3 realignment!  Beavers then practiced their firelighting skills—well done to Antoni who has definitely mastered using a flint & steel.

A Chinese zodiac scavenger hunt & games using chopsticks & giant chopsticks (aka broom handles!) finished off a very successful, enjoyable night away.
