BEAVER & SQUIRREL FUN …….

Beavers & Squirrels from 1st Knaphill joined the rest of Woking District in a Fun Day at Mizen’s Railway full of fun packed activities.

Here is what Beaver Scout Hannah, aged 7, had to say:

ALL ABOUT BEAVERS FUN DAY….

On Saturday 8th June every Beaver from Woking went to Beaver Fun Day.  The Fun Day was at Mizen’s Railway.

In my group we first went on a mini train which was so fun and I got to sit at the front on our second ride.  We learnt about the steam engines which was interesting and something new.  There was also a huge bouncy castle which we all really enjoyed.

Next we went to our colony tent to have our delicious lunch.  Then we went to do some activities like axe throwing, fishing, badge making, knots, friendship bracelets and all things like that.  Finally we ended with a ceremony where some Chief Scout Bronze awards were made & we got to see who is ready to go to Cubs.

What a fun day we had! Those who didn’t come I’m sure you will get another chance.
