BEAVERS GO WILD!

Date: 16th May 2023 Author: Tracey Daniell

Beavers Go Wild is a fun weekend camp at Bentley Copse for Beavers from all over Surrey.  Beavers get to take part in a huge range of exciting activities & meet Beavers for other colonies.

We had a great group of Beavers who all got on really well together.  It was really great to see Logan B organize a football tournament with other Beaver colonies—he sorted it all himself with player list, fixtures etc!  Well done Logan!

Here’s what our Beavers had to say about Beavers Go Wild:

Benjamin: My favorite activity was climbing, when I looked down I hesitated a bit but then I carried on up to the top.  It felt great to ring the bell.

Theo: I loved the caving because it was dark and creepy which was very challenging

Luna: The food was nice, I enjoyed making badges, ropemaking, caving & splashing in the slime with Elsbeth.

Renna: I loved making out own dens

Logan M: Caving and climbing.  The first time I was nervous climbing but the second time I was determined to get to the top, and I did.

James:  The water camels were fun!

Aiden:  The edible Beaver tails were yummy!

Emma: I enjoyed the climbing , I was scared at first but I enjoyed it.

Samuel: I loved all of it but especially the edible Beaver tails, trains & go karting

Logan B:  I LOVED the caving!

Antoni: I really liked the crate stacking, we got to fly in the air at the end!

Daniel: I enjoyed Go-karting especially as we were filmed!

Elsbeth: Making the den was fun & I enjoyed splashing in the slime with Luna

Billy: Slime, slime, slime!
