BEAVERS GO WILD! …..
For our camping weekend we went to Bentley Copse and there were hundreds of Beavers from all over Surrey. Once we had settled into our tents and we unpacked our things it was time to go and have some fun in the sunshine.
My favourite activity was the Leap of Faith because we took a big swing in the air, it felt like jumping out of an aeroplane! It was great to hear everyone cheering us on when we had our turns.
We tried so many amazing activities, such as ziplines, pedal karts, fire lighting, toasting marshmallows, the climbing wall, making giant bubbles, compass making, lacrosse, rocket making, mini bowling, cave maze and rope making.
I also enjoyed the zipline because it was speedy and up high. When I went down it I said I believe I can fly! I zoomed down really fast and landed right on my bottom!
In the evening we all sang songs around the campfire. Our last song was ‘ We Will Rock You!’ It was so exciting to all sing together. At night we were all exhausted but we stayed awake until late as we were playing Top Trumps in the tent.
I would say to everyone to come to Beavers Go Wild!
Thank you to all the leaders for looking after us and organising such a fantastic camp.
