CUB’S BUSHCRAFT CAMP….

It was brilliant to be back out camping on our annual Bushcraft Camp and it was a great success!
A lot of cubs have not camped before and those of us that have camped have not been able to camp properly for a long time!
We cooked on the fire all weekend, bacon on sticks, eggs in the embers, burgers, sausage casserole in foil parcels. Cubs learned knife skills and how to use them safely and practiced first aid with fake wounds and blood, they looked quite realistic! We also made some camp gadgets and had an excellent washing up stand and a chair for our camp mascot Snaffles.
We are really looking forward to our 2 night summer camp.
