DOWNSLINK SCOUT CYCLE EXPEDITION …..

Date: 5th Jul 2025 Author: Tracey Daniell

The Downslink bike ride was 65km from Guildford to Shoreham  It was a really  good experience, the food was great and it was nice the way it was split into 40km the first day and 25km the second day .  For me it wasn’t too difficult because I  did the France cycle trip last year but it was harder than a normal bike ride.  There were great views & I would say it is in the top three camps I have done in Scouts.,  My cycling has really improved & I am definitely more speedy.  The only improvement I can think of is if the days could be split more evenly distance wise.

A great camp—thank you leaders!
