Group Family Camp Sept 2017

Beavers, Cubs and Scouts celebrated the beginning of term by bringing their families along to get a taste of Scout Camp at Birchmere Campsite on Wisley Common.  All took part in a wide range of activities including archery, shooting, caving, branding, pioneering assault course & of course a raucous campfire to round off Saturday evening.  We were delighted to have 3 of our newest Beavers along who had only joined 4 days beforehand!  They will receive their Nights Away 1 badge when they are invested.  Thanks as always to everyone who worked so hard to make the camp the success it was, and special thanks to the catering crew who faced challenging facilities, but as always came up trumps!
