KIP ON A SHIP! ……

Date: 28th Apr 2024 Author: Tracey Daniell

In the Easter holidays we were lucky enough to get to sleep on HMS Belfast.  We started off by walking around the ship and exploring all of the nooks and crannies.  Then we ate dinner at the mess where all of the crewmates used to eat.  We went for a nice evening walk over Tower Bridge.  Next we walked back to the ship and slept in the cabins in bunk beds.  In the morning we carried on exploring the ship and we raised the flag.

It was so much fun!  If you ever get the opportunity to do this I highly recommend it.  You get to learn so many new things and have a brilliant time with your friends

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
